A McDonald's in Oman

OAK BROOK, Ill., March 29— The McDonald's Corporation will open its first restaurant in Oman on Wednesday, the fast-food company said today. The McDonald's in Muscat, the capital, is near a shopping center; it seats 138 and offers drive-through service and the traditional McDonald's menu. McDonald's will have restaurants in four countries in the region: Oman, Morocco, Israel and Saudi Arabia. Its first restaurant in the region opened 15 months ago in Casablanca, Morocco. With the Oman opening, it has restaurants in 71 countries. By the end of 1994, the company plans to open restaurants in Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
