Frost in Kuwait opens today
Kuwaiti businessman Haitham Alghunaim is set to open the first franchise of Tucson gelato shop Frost today in a desert a world away from Tucson. Alghunaim will open a shop in his native Kuwait City in a deal that he secured with Frost founders Jeffrey Kaiserman and Stephen Ochoa in June. Alghunaim whipped up his first batch of Frost gelato last week from the shop in Kuwait City and posted pictures of himself sampling the treat on his Facebook page. He said last summer that he hoped to open several locations throughout the Middle East, including in Lebanon and Jordan.
