Jaber Mall is a new shopping mall opening in the new Jaber Al Ahmad city, and it’s aiming to be very different from your typical mall. One of its main features is a massive 30,000m² botanical garden that will sit at the center, featuring shaded walkways and water features designed to create a cool microclimate. I visited the site last week to check it out and my first impression is that it’s going to feel very different from anything else in Kuwait at the moment. Although the garden was still being worked on I could already visualize how it will look. They’re blending greenery and nature into the shopping experience which should look very cool once completed. The garden is being developed in collaboration with Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and will feature drought-resistant native plants designed to create a sustainable green environment that could potentially serve as a model for future urban projects. Other than the garden, the mall will also feature shaded parking areas fitted with solar panels that will generate electricity for the project as part of its sustainability approach tied to New Kuwait Vision 2035. The mall will include retail stores, restaurants, cafés, clinics, offices, car showrooms, and entertainment spaces. Some of the brands opening include % Arabica, Pick, Oak & Smoke, Ananas, Happy Crescent, Spark Athletic, Home Centre, Safat Home, Lulu Hypermarket, as well as showrooms for GM, Ford, Toyota, and Lexus. The project is expected to soft open next month, with the official opening planned for the end of the year. Ford Trucks appoints Alghanim Auto as its only Agent and Dealer in Kuwait

Ford Trucks, one of the largest international heavy truck manufacturers in the world, recently announced that it has selected Alghanim Auto as the official dealer for Ford Trucks Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Kuwait. Alghanim Auto is part of the Alghanim Industries automotive group, which includes Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company. This new partnership was announced and celebrated during a press event at the Dar Hamad Restaurant. The event was attended by CEO of Alghanim Industries, Omar K. Alghanim, Director of International Markets at Ford Trucks, Ercan Emrah Duman, the Ambassador of the United States, H.E. Lawrence Silverman, the First Counselor of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. «فورد»: شركة «الغانم أوتو» مستورد معتمد

جاءنا من شركة فورد موتور ما يلي: بداية نود ان نتقدم إليكم بجزيل الشكر والامتنان على حضوركم وتغطيتكم المؤتمر الصحافي الذي عقد في الكويت يوم 2016/8/8، حيث نشرت جريدتكم الغراء في الصفحة 24 في العدد المنشور لها بتاريخ 2016/8/9 خبرا بعنوان: «فورد»: «الغانم أوتو» وكيلنا في الكويت. نود احاطتكم علماً بان شركة فورد موتور لم تتطرق بأي شكل من الأشكال إلى تعيين شركة الغانم أوتو كوكيل حصري لسيارات وقطع غيار فورد. إنما حقيقة ما ورد على لسان ممثلي فورد موتور في المؤتمر الصحافي هو ان شركة الغانم اوتو هي مستورد معتمد لكل سيارات وقطع غيار فورد موتور كرافت. ونبهت شركة فورد موتور عملاءها بان سيارات فورد وخدمات الصيانة المتعلقة بها متوافرة لدى شركة الغانم أوتو لبيع وشراء السيارات (ش.ش.و) في الكويت، حيث ان شركة فورد موتور بدأت علاقتها التعاقدية مع الغانم أوتو منذ 27 مارس 2016. حيث يمكن لعملاء فورد شراء سيارات فورد الجديدة وصيانة سياراتهم لدى التقنيين المرخصين ومستشاري الخدمة في شركة فورد، كما يمكنهم شراء قطع غيار فورد وموتور كرافت Motor Craft الأصلية والحصول على خدمات ما بعد البيع وقطع الغيار من شركة الغانم أوتو ومراكز الخدمة التابعة لها في الكويت. ولما كانت المادة 17 من قانون رقم 3 لسنة 2006 بشأن المطبوعات والنشر توجب على رئيس التحرير ان ينشر من دون مقابل أي تصحيح يرد إليه من أي شخص طبيعي أو اعتباري ورد اسمه في خبر نشر بالصحيفة في ذات مكان نشر الخبر وبذات الحروف والحجم موضوع التصحيح. وحرصاً منا على دقة الأخبار المنشورة وتأثير تلك الأخبار في عملائنا في الكويت وحتى لا يكون هناك التباس لطبيعة العلاقة بين شركة فورد موتور وشركة الغانم أوتو، يرجى تصحيح الخبر المنشور والتأكيد على ان شركة الغانم أوتو هي مستورد معتمد لسيارات وقطع غيار فورد.

«فورد»: «الغانم أوتو» وكيلنا في الكويت

أعلنت شركة فورد موتور كومباني عن إنهاء اتفاقية التوزيع التي كانت قد أبرمتها مع المجموعة العربية للسيارات للعلامتين فورد ولينكولن في الكويت اعتباراً من 27 يوليو 2016، وانه تم التعاقد مع «الغانم أوتو» كمستورد لمنتجاتها منذ 27 مارس الماضي. وقال نائب الرئيس لقسم المبيعات والتسويق والخدمات لدى فورد الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، كاليانا سيفانيانام، خلال مؤتمر صحافي عقدته الشركة أمس، ان أسباب إنهاء التعاقد مع المجموعة العربية يرجع الى المراجعة الشاملة واعادة «فورد» لإستراتيجيتها في السوق الكويتي وحاجتها إلى التغيير والتوسع في أعمالها. وبسؤاله عن استمرار رفض وزارة التجارة تسجيل «الغانم أوتو» كوكيل لـ «فورد» في الكويت، قال سيفانيانام: «لندع القضاء يأخذ مجراه، ونحن نعمل تحت مظلة القانون الكويتي، وبالنهاية «فورد» لها الحق في إنهاء التعاقد مع المجموعة العربية. ونؤكد التزام «فورد» التام بإنماء أعمالها في الكويت وتركيزها على خدمة عملائها المحليين بشكل أفضل من خلال أفضل تمثيل ممكن لماركتَي فورد ولينكولن». وأكد أن الكويت سوق مهم بالنسبة إلى شركة فورد في الشرق الأوسط، فهناك أكثر من 41 ألف عميل لـ «فورد» و«لينكولن» في الكويت، ونحن ملتزمون بخدمة السوق وعملائنا فيها. وأضاف: «في إطار توسيع أعمالنا في الشرق الأوسط، يبقى تزويد عملائنا الكويتيين بمنتجات راقية المستوى عالمياً وتجربة تملّك استثنائية من الأولويات لدى «فورد». ونحن نعتقد أنّ خبرة شركة الغانم أوتو في مجال بيع السيارات ومهاراتها في تقديم الخدمات ونجاحها المستمر في تحقيق رضا العملاء، ستساهم في تنمية أعمال «فورد» في الكويت أكثر». من جانبه، قال المدير التنفيذي لفورد الشرق الأوسط تييري صبّاغ «نحن على ثقة أنّ شركة الغانم أوتو هي الشريك المناسب لتطوير ماركة فورد في الكويت ولمساعدتنا على تزويد عملائنا المحليين بأفضل تجربة تملّك على الإطلاق». وأضاف صبّاغ: «نحن على استعداد تام لتزويد عملائنا في الكويت بالدعم الشامل الذي يحتاجون إليه في مجالَي البيع والخدمة، وإننا نعمل عن كثب مع مستورد منتجاتنا الجديد (الغانم أوتو)، لمنح عملائنا ما يتوقعونه من جودة في المنتجات والخدمة بقيمة شرائية ممتازة». وأعاد مسؤولو «فورد» التأكيد على أنّ عملاء «فورد» و«لينكولن» سيتمكنون من شراء مركباتهم، والحصول على أفضل خدمات الصيانة والمعاينة والتصليح على يد فنيي واستشاريي خدمات مدرّبين لدى «فورد»، وشراء قطع غيار أصلية من فورد وموتوركرافت، لدى «الغانم أوتو» ولدى مركز الخدمة المخصصة لسيارات «فورد» و«لينكولن» في الشويخ. كما أكّدت «فورد» أيضاً أنّ «الغانم أوتو» هي المستورد في دولة الكويت والمرخّص الوحيد من قبل شركة فورد لإجراء التصليحات المشمولة بكفالات «فورد» و«لينكولن» للعملاء الحاليين والجدد، وأنّه سيتمّ الوفاء بعقود «فورد» و«لينكولن» الممددة للصيانة ™Extended Service Plan فقط لدى «الغانم أوتو».

توضيحا لما تم نشره بالصحف الكويتية بتاريخ 28/7/2016 و 29/7/2016 و 31/7/2016 من شركة فورد موتورز كومباني. تعلن شركة المجموعة العربية للسيارات إن ما جاء بهذه الاعلانات عار من الصحة ومخالف لصحيح القانون وحقيقة الواقع. حيث إن المجموعة العربية للسيارات لا تزال حتى تاريخ اليوم الوكيل الوحيد المعتمد وفقا لسجلات قسم الوكالات التجارية بوزارة التجارة والصناعة والمقيد بأرقام 1986/162، 1986/167، 1988/225 وذلك بناء على الشهادة الصادرة من الوزارة سالفة الذكر في 2016. ولا يجوز لشركة فورد موتورز ان تتحلل من علاقتها التعاقدية بإرادتها المنفردة وعليها الالتزام بتوفير جميع الخدمات للعملاء من خلال شركة المجموعة العربية للسيارات والتي يستمر قيامها بتقديم خدماتها كوكيل وموزع وفقا لنصوص قانون الوكالات التجارية رقم 2016/13 وإعمالا لإلتزاماتها المقررة وفقا للمادة العاشرة من القانون. سيما وان شركة الغانم اوتو قد تقدمت مرتين فور ابرام عقد الوكالة معها وشركة فورد لوزارة التجارة لقيدها كوكيل جديد وتم رفض القيد للمرة الأولى وقامت بتقديم طلب آخر وتم رفضه أيضا باعتبار ان وكالة المجموعة العربية للسيارات مع وفورد وكالة غير محددة المدة. وتعلن المجموعة العربية للسيارات بأنها لا تزال مستمرة في تقديم كافة الخدمات المتطلبة منها كوكيل عملا بقواعد الوكالة وما ينشأ عنها من كفالة وضمان.
