New Store Opening

The long wait is finally over! We are excited to share the opening of Jamie’s Italian and Punjab Grill in Reem Mall! With their beautiful interiors and diverse menus, both restaurants bring something unique to Reem Mall and further strengthen its F&B offering with two exciting new dining destinations. New Store Opening

Back in May I posted that Nando’s, the popular South African franchise was coming to Kuwait and looks like it's now official. Yesterday two opening soon hoardings came up, one at The Warehouse Mall and a second one at Al Kout Mall announcing that Nandos will be opening this December. Nandos originally opened at The Avenues back in 2007 but ended up closing down shortly after. This time @apparelgroupofficial are bringing them back, the same company that has Tim Hortons and Jamie's Italian (which is also opening in Kuwait).

What a week! Huge congratulations to our partner, Apparel Group who opened Jamie's Italian in Dubai Mall on Wednesday. A truly special, flagship site for us – with capacity for 180 covers and a gorgeous 'pasta theatre' at the front of the restaurant, where guests can see our beautiful daily pasta specials being handmade. Our third site-launch of the year, next up for Apparel is yet another exciting location – Jamie's Italian, Dubai Hills Mall, opening this summer.

Jamie’s Italian was founded in Oxford in 2008. Since then it has grown to more than 40 restaurants worldwide, and there are already plans for even more in towns, counties and countries around the world. But that’s not even half the story..Jamie’s Italian is inspired by Jamie’s passion for the Italian way of life: “Since I was a teenager I’ve been totally besotted by the love, passion and verve for food, family and life itself that just about all Italian people have, no matter where they’re from or how rich or poor they might be. And that’s what I’m passionate about – good food for everyone, no matter what… But the thing I love most about the Italians is that somehow, although they have some of the best fashion designers and cars in the world, they’ve managed to retain a unique sense of tradition and village spirit”. Our menu is rooted in authenticity. We’re all about fantastic, rustic dishes created using tried and tested recipes. Jamie’s friend and mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, has added substance to what is now the essence of Jamie’s Italian – tradition combined with current, innovative ideas and a Jamie twist. We work hard to find the very best ingredients, which are meticulously sourced from producers, both in Italy and around the UK, who share our ethos and take enormous pride in what they do. In turn, this inspires the team at Jamie’s Italian and we train our staff to have a thorough knowledge of all the dishes that we serve. We teach the origin of each dish, how the dishes have been created and cooked, and the personalities and stories behind them all. Jamie’s Italian was designed to be accessible and affordable, a neighbourhood restaurant where everyone is welcome and feels comfortable, no matter what the time of day. Each restaurant is uniquely designed to incorporate the history of the building and personality of the city, as well as creating an environment where the focus is on exceptional food, good company and the relaxed conviviality of the “Italian table”. Our unique culture is based on knowledge and pride and since opening our first restaurant in Oxford in 2008, this has inspired the successful expansion of Jamie’s Italian nationwide across the UK and also internationally. As we grow, our menu and concept are constantly evolving with creativity, simplicity, great quality and genuine passion at the heart of everything we do.
