In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, we offer “sophisticated casual” dining to hungry guests, bringing the comfort of home cooked meals to the urban sophistication of the city. You can pop in for coffee or tea, a light meal, or even a three-course meal! In a rush? Call to order from our Takeout Menu or check out our display counter for ready-to-go freshly baked goods. We specialize in deli-style favorites like sandwiches, salads, pastas and much more. Our dishes are perfect for sharing – in fact we encourage it (although we completely understand if you want a dish all to yourself)! At Urban, we make it a mission to serve real food. We try our best to source non-processed ingredients, using preservative-free, natural ingredients whenever possible. Our breads are crafted by the best bakers and delivered fresh to our kitchen everyday. Our vegetables are handpicked by our team and bought daily to ensure freshness. Everything at Urban is prepared in-house; all our sauces, dressings, and condiments are made from scratch; all the meats we use are marinated and sliced in-house using our very own process-free methods. It has always been a dream of ours to serve quality handmade food to the public. Many of our dishes are home recipes and others were creations that we whipped up according to our whims and cravings! We hope they bring you as much pleasure as they have to us.

Urban Café is a local Kuwaiti café concept created by Shaker Alkazemi and Abdulrahman Alothman. The brand launched its first location in Kuwait City in December of 2013. The company is planning to launch a second branch in 2016 in the upcoming Mayar F&B Complex in Shuwaikh Industrial Area. Urban Café is operated by Alkazemi and Alothman Restaurants Management Company. The company does not operate other restaurant brands.
