He added that the bank took into account when designing the new building, many key points, foremost of which are the developments that the world is expected to witness in the coming years, especially those related to technical and digital developments, which means that the work environment will be completely different from what it is currently. He added that the building was designed according to the highest standards of modern technology, in order to achieve the requirements of banking work, and to preserve the environment in accordance with the requirements of the US Green Building Council, through the Leadership in Energy and Environment (LEED) design system, noting the adoption of the building’s operating system to be among the smart systems ( Smart Building). Al-Yaqout explained that this includes the use of environmentally friendly building materials, and methods to conserve and rationalize the consumption of water and electricity, both during the construction stages or after moving to the new building, taking into account the design of indoor air quality and natural lighting with acoustic design and noise reduction. He stated that the new building, whose design was inspired by the bank’s logo, will be built on an area of ​​4,000 square meters, in a strategic and distinctive location in the heart of Kuwait City, to serve as a symbolic icon displaying Kuwait’s vibrant culture to the world, and to achieve Boubyan’s message of perfection. He stated that the building also provides the bank with the opportunity to benefit from technology in banking, real estate and investment services, and to benefit from spacious office spaces, conference rooms and other large common spaces. For his part, Chairman of the First United Company for General Trading and Contracting Khaled Al-Mashaan expressed his happiness at signing the contract with Boubyan Bank to implement the bank’s main building, given the high position it has reached in recent years, pointing out that the construction of the bank’s headquarters tower is an important step in the bank’s record.
