On Expands Gulf Presence with Store Opening in Kuwait
KUWAIT, February 22, 2026: Swiss premium sportswear brand On today announced the opening of its first store in Kuwait, located at The Avenues Mall, the country's biggest shopping destination. This new retail space is the brand’s second in the Gulf region, following the successful opening of its Riyadh store in October 2025. On plans to add a total of nine locations across the GCC over the next two years. Since 2024, On has partnered with Mizzen, part of the Seddiqi Holding group, as its primary representative across the GCC and Jordan. A place to move and connect The opening is strategically timed to meet the demands of the region’s burgeoning sports and wellness culture, characterized by a growing interest in movement and fitness. Located on the Electra wing in Kuwait’s biggest shopping destination, The Avenues, the 440 sqm store brings On’s passion for innovation and movement to life, underpinned by Swiss engineering and design. The new Kuwait store is offering On’s full range of premium footwear, apparel, and accessories across running, outdoor, training, tennis, and lifestyle categories. “The Gulf region is a vibrant and essential market for On, and the opening of our first store in Kuwait is a testament to the community’s active and evolving fitness culture,” said Bianca Pestalozzi-Houchangnia, General Manager EMEA at On. “On builds genuine community ties to inspire movement, creating retail spaces that support local active lifestyles. The Avenues store will serve as a home for local runners and sports enthusiasts to gather, train, and share their passion.” On is committed to fostering consistent engagement within Kuwait’s active ecosystem through a variety of initiatives. The store will host regular in-store movement sessions, hosted runs, and collaborations with local run clubs and fitness partners. The brand has already forged strong connections, including a key partnership with local gym Barry’s at The Avenues. Cultural connection through athletes Highlighting its commitment to local relevance and inspiring the next generation of athletes, On has partnered with Kuwaiti Olympian Amal Al-Roumi. As the country’s first female 800m Olympian at Paris 2024, Amal’s performance-driven journey perfectly embodies On’s philosophy of progress through movement. This partnership not only strengthens the brand’s cultural connection in Kuwait but also aims to inspire runners across the wider Gulf region.
